Bernardita holds a PhD in environmental science and is an expert in urban spatial analytics. Her mission: healthier, more walkable, higher quality-of-life cities around the world.
Ilan Tiagai, founder of SmartHygiene, is a healthtech innovator solving a problem few are willing to talk about. His AI-powered smart bidet delivers dignified, effective post-toileting cleanliness for older adults and people with cognitive decline or disabilities that reduce painful, costly issues like UTIs and skin irritation, while easing the burden on caregivers.
A veteran lead engineer at several startups, Ilan has spent years bringing SmartHygiene from concept to reality and is now moving into manufacturing. His first customers: the NY Office of Aging and senior care organizations across Canada.

Ramesh Advani has executive and startup experience in finance, marketing and operations in medical manufacturing, financial services and state government. He specializes in technology, finance and human services.
Danielle D. Duplin, owner of FreeWind Productions, will moderate the program. She is co-founder of Founders Over 50 and an executive producer of innovation programming. Danielle is Founder & CEO of AgeTech Connect Boston, and AGENCY: Worldwide Innovation for Living Longer and Aging Better, and has led strategic tech programming for AARP’s AgeTech Collaborative, Fidelity Investments Center for Applied Technology, and co-founded and curated TEDx Boston.
