Linda Friedman is the co-founder of Encore!Hartford, a program of the University of Connecticut’s Department of Public Policy, which after a decade of hard work, has spread statewide as Encore!Connecticut. The program assists seasoned corporate professionals transition their experience and skills to managerial positions in the nonprofit sector. The heart and soul of Encore!Connecticut, Linda spent many an hour counseling Encore!Connecticut Fellows and co-leading the program to national recognition. In addition, Linda provided content expertise to the development
and launch of the initial Encore Network website.
