Ken Dychtwald, PhD
Orinda, CA
Dychtwald’s crowning achievement is the conception, sponsorship, and hosting of 12 “legacy interviews,” presented by ASA, to capture the wisdom, perspectives, and life lessons of diverse pioneers in the aging fields such as: Larry Curley, MPA; Marc Freedman; Linda Fried, MD, MPH; Terry Fulmer, PhD, RN; Kathy Greenlee, JD; Jennie Chin Hansen, RN, MS; Paul Nathanson, JD; Jack Rowe, MD; E. Percil Stanford, PhD; Jeanette Takamura, PhD; Fernando Torres-Gil, PhD; and Imani Woody, PhD, MS. For everyone who touches the lives of older adults, the interviews have been distilled into: a 60-minute public television special “Sages of Aging” to air nationally October 1st, a 90-minute professional documentary, and a book, Sages of Aging: A Guide for Changemakers.
