Dave Hinchen is Director of Ignatian Volunteer Corps of New England, a volunteer program for older adults that combines a year of service with spiritual reflection. Dave matches the skills of volunteers with the needs of nonprofits in education, social services, immigration and other sectors. Dave's career has focused on community action and volunteer service. He was founding director of Jesuit Volunteer Corps along the east coast from Maine to North Carolina, founded a program for homeless adults in Washington, DC, and a Jesuit Hiker's Hostel on the Appalachian Trail. He ran volunteer programs for schools, hospitals, and other organizations, before starting the New England chapter of Ignatian Volunteer Corps. Dave is a graduate of Holy Cross, St. Louis University and Weston College School of Theology.
