Breaking the Age Code: A Conversation with Author Becca Levy

May 25 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm EDT

Did you know that our thoughts and beliefs about aging affect our health, wellness, likelihood of developing dementia, and even our longevity?

Groundbreaking research by Dr. Becca Levy of the Yale School of Public Health demonstrates that having age-positive beliefs can have tremendous benefits.

Join us and Dr. Levy for a fascinating presentation about her research, followed by a conversation about how we can attain and retain positive beliefs about aging when surrounded by an ageist society. We’ll explore things that we can do as individuals, and together, to strengthen age-positive beliefs and to address ageism.

The virtual event is presented by Denver Public Library, Changing the Narrative, and NextFifty Initiative.

Register NOW by visiting this website. We’ll send you Zoom log-in information 24 hours before the workshop, and the day of. The event is free, but you must register.

We’ll also be doing drawings for Dr. Levy’s book at the event (so do include your mailing address in your registration). Don’t miss it!
