Nancy commented, “Turnout was great for the launch of One OC’s EncoreOC project-based fellows program with attendees representing so many sectors. Other presenters included La Val Brewer of Playworks of Southern California and Abby Edmunds, One OC’s Volunteer Services Encore Manager. OneOC is an Encore Network member and Playworks a Gen2Gen partner . . . great to see these connections seamlessly in action on the ground. Both are models of how encore can be embedded in organizations and communities. I’m always humbled by the creativity and commitment in on-the-ground work of organizations like these.”
